If you are in need of a flex play in Week 5, here are three available players worth adding to your fantasy football roster.

Four-plus weeks into the fantasy football season and everything is already turned upside down. There are two teams on bye and many players injured, leaving fantasy owners scrambling to fill their roster. If you need a find someone for your flex spot, here are three players to look at.

The flex spot is cool because it allows you to use a third wide receiver or running back or a second tight end when you normally wouldn’t start them. It also allows you to quickly take someone out of your lineup if they are inactive before their game starts. Having that flexibility, no pun intended, could make the difference in a head-to-head matchup.

Taywan Taylor, TEN

Outside of Corey Davis, who else does Marcus Mariota have to throw to? Dion Lewis has seen a drop in receptions in each of the last three weeks and with Delanie Walker done for the season, they don’t have a pass-catching tight end.

Taylor is the wide receiver I expect to take that WR2 job. He saw a career-high in targets, receptions and yards in Week 4 with his seven catches on nine targets with 77 yards.

Without Rishard Matthews, the Titans need someone to step up in the passing game. Taylor is owned in 7.4 percent of ESPN leagues. He could make a difference against the Buffalo Bills.

Alfred Blue, HOU

It may be a couple of weeks before this add pays off fully but Blue is someone to keep on your radar. Lamar Miller has struggled all season, forcing the Texans coaching staff to go with a committee approach.

Miller hasn’t eclipsed 100 yards or scored a rushing touchdown this season. He does have one receiving touchdown, though. Miller rushed for just 49 yards on 14 carries in Week 4. Blue ran 13 times for 31 yards.

Miller is dealing with a chest injury and is a game-time decision for Week 5. This gives Blue the potential to be the Texans lead back against the Dallas Cowboys.

Donte Moncrief, JAX

All three Jacksonville wide receivers have looked good throughout the season. Unfortunately, none of them have been able to separate from the others as the go-to target for Blake Bortles. Thus, they will continuously be ranked near each other.

Dede Westbrook is the lightning and can break away from defenders. Keelan Cole and Moncrief are similar possession receivers. Moncrief should be able to rack up another four or five receptions and a touchdown against the weak Chiefs secondary.

Moncrief is owned in just 12.6 percent of ESPN leagues.

These three players aren’t the superstars we drafted in the first two rounds but with some top players dealing with injuries, they could be more than helpful this week and beyond.
