Udinese face Juventus at Dacia Arena on Saturday, Oct. 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Udinese have picked up only eight points in their first seven games to sit 14th in the Serie A table. On Saturday, Udinese host Serie A leaders Juventus at Dacia Arena. The seven time defending champions have got off to a perfect start, winning all seven games and look like they will run away their eighth straight scudetto.
Udinese lost their second straight game last weekend, falling 2-1 to Bologna. The Little Zebras have been overly dependent on Rodrigo de Paul to create goals. De Paul has scored four goals, half of Udinese’s goals this season. The Argentina winger has also added two assists, giving de Paul a hand in 75 percent of Udinese’s goals this season. Midfielder Rolando Mandragora was Udinese’s big summer signing. Mandragora was one of the many players that Juventus had to offload this summer to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
Last weekend, Juventus moved six points clear of Napoli after beating the Little Donkeys 3-1 in Turin. Ronaldo assisted on all three Juventus goals, while Mario Mandzukic scored twice against Napoli, giving him a team-best four goals. Juventus will look to continue their perfect start on Saturday against Udinese. Massimiliano Allegri decided to rotate his squad on Wednesday against weaker Swiss side Young Boys in Champions League. Ronaldo, Joao Cancelo and Giorgio Chiellini were among the players that did not play against the Bern side. Juventus easily beat Young Boys 3-0, with Paulo Dybala netting a hat-trick.
