No. 8 Aaron Jones vs Detroit

Aaron Jones is back on the list! Yes, last week Jones was on for how he bounced back in his first game back with the Packers and he’s a pivotal piece moving forward for this team.

Three backs make up that backfield but it’s Jones and Jamaal Williams that have done the most damage. Detroit’s yards per carry average currently is the biggest thing that makes Jones my Packers favorite this week. The Lions sit third worst in the league at 5.3 yards per carry to opposing offenses and if the last two performances for Jones say anything it’s that he can make a lot out of a little.

Jones found massive holes at the second level past the line of scrimmage, against the Bills finishing with 65 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. I expect that to carry over this week in another big divisional matchup for Rodgers and the Pack.

No. 7 Bilal Powell vs Denver

Dual-threat running tandems, we love them here at FanSided. Powell and Crowell are one of the more consistent but when they’re off…boy are they off. Powell has had an up and down start to 2018 but has had flashes with the carries he’s gotten both against Detroit and Cleveland.

Powell and Crowell share that load when it comes to carries as the drive progresses but I like Powell in this matchup. Denver has struggled against the run with five rushing scores allowed through four weeks.

Darnold and this offense are desperate for consistency and for this bunch I think it comes through most with these two backs.  Powell fits in the flex this week for our sleepers.
