Southampton host Chelsea at St. Mary’s Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 7. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Chelsea have benefited from the introduction of Sarriball, which along with Eden Hazard’s fantastic start to the season can be credited for the Blues great start. Were it not for former Chelsea man Daniel Sturridge spectacular strike that tied up the game for Liverpool, the Blues would be at the top of the Premier League. Maurizio Sarri will have a full roster at his disposal for the away game against the Saints, as there are no notable injury worries for the West London team. Will be interesting to see if Sarri continues to start Oliver Giroud  over Alvaro Morata in the Premier League following the Spaniard’s start and winning goal scored in the Europa League on Thursday.

Southampton are starting off exactly where they left off last season, hovering around the relegation zone, currently in 16th place after 7 games. Mark Hughes’s team is coming of a penalty shootout win over Everton in the Carabao Cup and will look to carry that momentum into Sunday’s home game against Chelsea. Alex McCarthy and Ryan Bertrand are on Mark Hughes’s injury report, while Shane Long and Mohamed Elyounoussi should be available up front.

Chelsea have won the last six meetings against Southampton and given the teams’ current respective forms it doesn’t appear that streak is about to end on Sunday.
