Fantasy football owners will be without Matthew Stafford and Drew Brees in Week 6. Here are three bye week replacements to target.

The bye weeks take two quarterbacks away from fantasy football owners. The Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints are not playing this week, leaving Drew Brees and Matthews Stafford on the bench in Week 6. With two of the top owned quarterbacks unavailable, here are three fill-ins worth adding to your team.

These three quarterbacks will be available in more than 80 percent of leagues. This makes sure this article is relevant to more fantasy owners and to those in deeper leagues.

They have favorable matchups and based on their performance in Week 5, they could continue to build on their success in Week 6. With the weapons all of these quarterbacks have around them, it’ll be hard to find more serviceable replacements.

Honorable Mention: Joe Flacco @TEN, Baker Mayfield vs. LAC, C.J. Beathard @GB

Jameis Winston, @ ATL

The Ryan Fitzpatrick experiment last three and a half weeks. Winston came back in the second half of Week 4 and threw for 145 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. With an extra week to prepare, Winston is back under center for the Buccaneers.

Winston and Tampa Bay take on the Atlanta Falcons. Their defense has allowed 23.6 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. The trio of Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson and Winston could put up a lot of points against the Falcons secondary. Throw in Cameron Brate and Winston will have plenty of weapons.

Winston is owned in just 12.7 percent of ESPN leagues.

Eli Manning, vs. PHI

Manning was criticized for his lack of ability to throw the ball downfield. Yet, he threw for 326 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 5. He still put up 19 fantasy points.

With a Philadelphia Eagles defense that allows 18.8 points per game, Manning should have a good game. With Odell Beckham, Sterling Shepard, Saquon Barkley and possibly the return on Evan Engram, Manning should be a popular waiver add.

The recent stretch of Thursday night games proves that there will be a lot of scoring. Manning is owned in just 10.7 percent of leagues.

Sam Darnold, vs. IND

This pick is a bit of a stretch but there is a reason to be optimistic. Darnold threw for three touchdowns with just one interception against the Denver Broncos. Robby Anderson and Isaiah  Crowell had their best games of the season.

The downside is that Darnold failed to throw for 200 yards in a third straight game and in four of his first five games this season. The matchup against the Indianapolis Colts should be able to break that streak.

They’ve allowed 19.2 fantasy points to quarterbacks, 282.6 passing yards and 27.6 points per game this season. The combination of Anderson and Quincy Enunwa and big-play ability of Terrelle Pryor will give the Colts defenders a lot to plan for.

There is a reason Darnold is owned in 5.5 percent of leagues, but that should go up this week.

Two of the three quarterbacks are not long-term answers but as a bye-week fill-in, they have the matchup and weapons to provide fantasy value. Make sure you put in those waiver claims if you need a replacement quarterback.
