Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers

Austin Ekeler has been an amazing flex play for those of us in deeper leagues. Even a good flex play for those who are in smaller leagues as well. Ekeler can be used each and every week and he has proven that he has a consistent target share in this Chargers offense.

Through five games, Ekeler has amassed a total of 203 rushing yards, 207 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns on 14 total receptions. If you’re looking for a guy who can get you anywhere from eight to 15 fantasy points a week then you’ve selected the right choice.

In Week 5, Ekeler had six carries for 15 yards, and caught a 44-yard touchdown pass from Phillip Rivers against the Oakland Raiders. This guy can do it all and on a more amazing note he has produced beautifully on a very limited time share.

As we all know Ekeler plays behind one of the best running backs in the NFL. Melvin Gordon has the main target share and carries the load in the backfield. In Week 6 Ekeler and the Chargers will be going up against the Cleveland Browns 27th-ranked defense.

Cleveland has allowed 398 total yards, 281.4 passing yards, 116.6 rushing yards and 22.6 points per game. This is the perfect matchup for Ekeler to be in. He is a must-play in Week 6.

Prediction: 8 carries for 50 yards, 5 receptions for 55 yards, one touchdown
