Hey guys! Hope you had a great Week 5 and now it’s time to hop into Week 6 in Fantasy Football and see what we should be looking forward too!

Fantasy Football: Five Things To Watch For in Week 6

1. Famous Jameis To The Rescue?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 2-2 after a hot start with Ryan Fitzpatrick but he crumbled facing the Chicago Bears and Jameis Winston was there to step in to his starting role once again. We knew Fitzpatrick wouldn’t stay hot for long but can Winston help pick up the steam again and get the Buccaneers rolling? His first official start of the 2018 season comes in at the right time as they get to face the Atlanta Falcons. Jameis Winston has never been the prettiest Fantasy Football Quarterback in the league when it comes to his stats but he does know how to get the job done, sometimes. With only one positive season under his career, Jameis has more weapons then he has ever had with Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, and Chris Godwin. If they can figure out the backfield, expect this offense to get it rolling and to continue it’s momentum.

2. T.J. Yeldon Continuing As The Starter

With Leonard Fournette doubtful once again, Yeldon is in line to see majority of the carries in the Jacksonville Jaguars offense. This week, the Jaguars do face the Dallas Cowboys who stop the run pretty well, ranking 11th in rushing defense and only allowing 95 yards per game. Last week, Bortles had to step up in the passing game as they trailed the Chiefs majority of the game but that was actually a bright spot for Yeldon who had 8 receptions off 10 targets for 69 yards with a receiving touch-down. So there is no worry if the run game isn’t there for the Jags as Yeldon can be more utilized as a receiver if needed.

3. Mike Evans vs. The Atlanta Falcons

Mike Evans has been a pretty weapon this year so far and heading into Week 6, he gets another chance to keep his hot streak going against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are ranked 23rd in the passing game, giving up on average 277 yards through the air and have already giving up a hundred yards receiving to five different receivers. Usually it’s the running-back that we can count on carving up the Falcons defense but because the Buccaneers have a shaky backfield, expect Evans to show up and put the numbers up. He has already seen the end-zone 3 times this season and the Buccaneers only struggled against the Chicago Bears where Evans still saw 9 targets.

4. Adam Thielen Making An Argument For The Number 1 Receiver Spot

Look, we talked about this man last week and we’ll talk about him once again, Adam Thielen is becoming that guy. Five straight weeks of a hundred yards or more receiving, Thielen is not slowing down. He receives the looks that he deserves, he manages to find the end-zone and if he doesn’t do that, then he’ll make sure that he has enough catches with yardages to put up twenty plus fantasy points, besides Week 1 at least. This week he does face the Arizona Cardinals who on average allow 248 yards through air but I really don’t expect that to stop him. He was able to put up over a hundred yards versus the Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Rams, so don’t count him out here versus the Cardinals or any team he faces all season long. It’s also hard to put all the attention on Adam Thielen when his teammate is Stefon Diggs. Pick your poison defenses, who do you pay more attention too?

5. Austin Hooper Day?

Basically this article is all about the Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta Falcons game because Austin Hooper has a prime spot. I’m usually horribly wrong when it comes to picking tight ends every week, except for Antonio Gates, but this right here is the money. Tampa Bay Buccaneers have given up two touchdowns to tight-ends in four weeks already. They have also allowed Vance McDonald to break for a over a hundred yards while Zach Ertz and Trey Burton have came close to breaking a hundred yards in receiving. So if this isn’t screaming “Lock In” then I don’t know what does. Another great plus is that the Buccaneers are dead last in passing defense, allowing 358 yards per game through the air. So lets claim Sunday to be Austin Hooper Day, hopefully.
