player. 60. . Offensive Guard. Wisconsin. Beau Benzschawel. 16

The Minnesota Vikings have had a very shaky start to the Kirk Cousins Era in the Twin Cities, as they have failed to play consistent football for most of the early going. They have a bad loss to the Buffalo Bills on their resume, but picked up a huge win this past weekend, as they went into Philadelphia and beat the team that ended their playoff run in the NFC title game last season.

When it comes to this roster, they need some help up front on offense, and bringing in a guy like Beau Benzschawel would go far in protecting Cousins, and helping in the run game. Benzschawel is one of the best offensive guards in the country, and has been an anchor on a Wisconsin offensive line that has been dominant in the Big Ten during his career.

Cousins was a major investment for the franchise, and is taking way too many hits early in his Vikings career. The Vikings are also getting nothing from 2017 first rounder Dalvin Cook, who burst onto the scene as a rookie last season, before tearing up his knee, and ending his rookie campaign early.

Based on what we have seen from this  team, they should be a playoff contender once again in 2018, and with Cousins under center,  they are never out of a game. They are going to be picking later than No. 16 by the time the NFL Draft comes around, but if for some reason they miss the playoffs, adding an elite offensive guard makes sense here.
