Minnesota Vikings vs Arizona Cardinals – $3800
Despite being one of the worst statistical defenses in the league throughout the season, the Minnesota Vikings get the respect of DraftKings this week. The top ranked defense faces a rookie quarterback making a road start in his second career game with one of the worst offensive lines in front of him. Minnesota is a talented unit ad this may be the week they finally put it together.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Dallas Cowboys – $3600
There are offenses that scare opponents in the NFL and the Dallas Cowboys are not one of them. Outside Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys are just not a unit that has any playmakers on that side of the ball. If it was not for their defense and run game, Dallas would be in the conversation with Arizona and Buffalo as the league’s bottom feeders. Jacksonville’s elite unit forced baby GOAT Patrick Mahoes into his first two picks next week. They’re going to dominate Dak Prescott. This is a good play and only Elliott can make that not the case.
Value Defense/Special Teams
Dallas Cowboys vs Jacksonville Jaguars – $2300
For some reason the Cowboys defense is priced towards the bottom of DraftKings rankings this week. The Jaguars are playing with Leonard Fournette again and are not exactly a high-powered unit. Dallas’ defense is the only thing keeping them even relevant this early on. Blake Bortles and company are in for a long day in what could be the lowest scoring game of the weekend.
