No. 5 Ryan Grant vs New York (Jets)

Let’s flip it and reverse it. On the flip side we’ve got Ryan Grant for the Colts. Grant had an up and down four years in Washington but is coming off his best season in 2017. Grant nearly doubled his career high in receptions with 45 for 573 yards and four touchdowns.

Receptions wise, Grant is off to a flying start in 2018. He’s already passed every season but 2017 and sits with his third highest yard per catch average at 10.3 yards. I love situational stats so let’s just say even if they don’t tell the whole story we’ll discuss them throughout each week. They’re fun.

Grant’s biggest damage has been with the Colts back against the wall where inside their own 20 he has 13 catches for 152 yards. Another cool stat? Grant has the exact same amount of yards at home as on the road:123. That’s cool alright, balance is cool

Grant gets a dinged up Jets secondary this week and that added trust with Luck when the Colts are backed up in their own territory makes Grant a play I really like in PPR leagues but as a flex in general.
