College GameDay Week 7: Best signs from Wisconsin vs. Michigan

The best ESPN College GameDay signs from Ann Arbor ahead of the Wisconsin Badgers taking on the Michigan Wolverines in Week 7 action.

Entering Week 7 of the 2018 college football season, Ohio State is the class of the Big Ten. However, they are also far from perfect and several teams lurk behind them trying to take them down. Two such teams, the Wisconsin Badgers and Michigan Wolverines, will square off on Saturday at Ann Arbor, making it a natural place for ESPN’s College GameDay to head in Week 7.

With both Wisconsin and Michigan ranked inside the top 15, there’s no question that both of these teams at their best can be quality. However, there is also no question that both the Badgers and Wolverines have proven that they can fall short of the mark. The Badgers did so against BYU in an upset loss while the Wolverines did so in their opener against Notre Dame.

Given that and things like the state of Jim Harbaugh’s record against top teams in the Big Ten, there was plenty of fodder ready-made for College GameDay signs in Ann Arbor. As we’ve seen before, though, just because the material is there, doesn’t mean the execution will be. Every college football fans loves some hilarious signs to wake up to on Saturday morning, so the hope was that Ann Arbor would deliver.

Let’s take a look at the best College GameDay signs from Ann Arbor ahead of Wisconsin vs. Michigan in Week 7:

There are always going to be the same old signs about khakis and whatnot whenever Michigan is involved, even if they are in Ann Arbor. However, it was nice to see the Wolverines be able to return the favor a bit, taking aim at the Badgers. Regardless, this wasn’t the best crop of College GameDay signs for the 2018 season, but it was a solid addition to the fold.
