College GameDay will travel to Ann Arbor for Michigan vs. Wisconsin on Saturday. To close the show, which mascot head will Lee Corso choose?
On Saturday morning, College GameDay will return for another episode of analysis, dramatics and highlights for the upcoming weekend of college football. Viewers can see Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Maria Taylor, Desmond Howard and other experts break down everything to expect.
For the latest edition of GameDay, the group will travel to Ann Arbor for a Big Ten clash between Michigan and Wisconsin. Both teams are ranked, so there are implications toward their standing in not just the conference, but the nation.
To close each show, Corso dramatically chooses who he thinks will win the on-site game by donning the school’s mascot head. It always makes for an entertaining antic, and he will do so, once again, for Michigan and Wisconsin.
If it’s the Wolverines, they step into a must-win situation at home, especially with a loss on their record from the season opener against Notre Dame. They have mostly skated by since, aside from a close game with Northwestern, but Saturday evening’s matchup is their first against a ranked opponent since the Fighting Irish.
A win could begin the talk for Jim Harbaugh’s team as an outside entry in the College Football Playoff. Losing probably removes them from the equation, with Ohio State and Penn State still on the schedule.
As for the Badgers, their lone blemish came against BYU. Otherwise, they have mostly found success over the past five weeks. This brought them to No. 15 in the rankings, with the ability to leap into the top 10 with a victory.
Corso analyzed all of the data and ended up deciding that Wisconsin is going to get a huge road win and effectively end Michigan’s season in October.

Wisconsin and Michigan will collide at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC. More importantly, though, which team will Corso pick to at 11:59 a.m. to open the weekend of college football? We’ll update this post right after the headgear goes on, so check back with us in case you aren’t able to watch it live.
