30. Dexter Lawrence, DL, Clemson

  • Height: 6’3″
  • Weight: 340
  • Class: Junior

Dexter Lawrence makes a significant jump in the rankings this week, which will be hard to do when it comes to the defensive line rankings. In the summer, many heard all the hype surrounding Lawrence and his potential to be a top 10 pick. However, the tape to prove it wasn’t there at all. He was a solid player, but not an elite one. This season, Lawrence is doing plenty to prove to scouts and analysts that he is a better player than what he was in 2017.

At his size, many see a nose tackle with the strength to hold gaps and do the dirty work on the line. This season, Lawrence is showing more explosiveness and has gotten around more blocks. It doesn’t show in his production at all on the stat sheet, but pressures aren’t tallied in the traditional sheet. Lawrence is rising for the right reasons.

29. N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State

  • Height: 6’3″
  • Weight: 220
  • Class: Junior

One player takes a jump on this slide, and the other fades back a bit. Through six games this season, N’Keal Harry has just 34 catches for 481 yards and five touchdowns. The five touchdowns is a good sign for him, as he can be a red zone target with his size and how he plays above the rim. However, the other slots show that he hasn’t had the season many were expecting so far. On this pace, he will have to push for a 1,000-yard season.

His upside is still there as a player who is electric after the catch and a good red zone target, but there are still questions with Harry. If he can improve as a route runner to set up his routes to create more separation, the production could jump in the second half of the season.
