20. Levonta Taylor, CB, Florida State

  • Height: 5’10ā€
  • Weight: 190
  • Class: Junior

The Florida State Seminoles have just not been a good team at all this season. That alone takes a lot of eyes off of players on that team. However, two players on that defense are top players heading into the 2019 NFL Draft. One of those guys is Levonta Taylor, who was a top cornerback in the summer. Despite the lack of buzz, Taylor is still playing very good football for the Seminoles.

He has the speed to stick with receivers down the field and great change of direction to hang with receivers at any point in the route. Taylor is also a great player at the catch point, and he had a nice pass breakup this past weekend against a much bigger receiver. People will question his size, but the talent is still there as a top corner in the draft.

19. Trey Adams, OT, Washington

  • Height: 6’8″
  • Weight: 327
  • Class: Senior

Washington offensive tackle Trey Adams takes a tumble in the rankings due to a season-ending injury. Unlike Rodney Anderson, Trey Adams will likely have to enter the draft on this note. Durability will be a huge concern now for Adams, after two seasons in a row plagued with injuries. That durability concern could be a deal breaker and erase a lot of the upside he has as a potential left tackle in the NFL.

His athleticism is still his best trait, as he shows good footwork and the ability to recover on plays and keep his balance. He can also move in space as a blocker and create openings on the second level. It’s unfortunate that there won’t be any tape on him in 2018, but hopefully, there is enough in 2017, and he can participate in the combine come February.
