Here’s how you can watch the Philadelphia 76ers play the Boston Celtics at Boston’s TD Garden online or the old fashioned way on TV.
The Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers will write another chapter in their ageless Atlantic division rivalry with a game on TNT tonight at 7:00 p.m ET. You can catch the action live right on your laptop at TNTDrama.com’s Watch TNT.
What kind of minutes will Gordon Hayward be looking at tonight? No one would blame Hayward for taking this game easy after what happened last year against the Cavaliers in his regular season debut. According to Celtics reporter Brian Robb, Coach Brad Stevens has commented that Hayward will be limited to 25-30 minutes in the first few weeks of regular season play. However, Stevens has said prior that Hayward (and Irving) will play back-to-backs.
The lead story outside of Al Horford’s domination of the 76ers (26, 7, 4 – Game 1) was the brimming youthful talent competition between the Celtics’ Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the 76ers’ Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid. The league is in good hands with so many potential breakout superstar talents between the two teams. Their front offices have been filling the cupboard with draft pick after draft pick with last year’s Tatum / Fultz pick trade a league-defining one.
Fultz saw his best game in pre-season on Sept. 28 against Melbourne United with 14 points on 6-11 shooting, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. He had a similar game against the Orlando Magic but has since taken the foot off the pedal for the last two. It’ll be interesting to see if he rises to the occasion against the team who traded his draft pick away.
