Running Backs

Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams, 155.0

Gurley is the best running back in the NFL. Through six games, Gurley has totaled 623 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns, while adding 247 receiving yards and two more scores through the air. Gurley is the main gear that keeps the high-powered Rams offense going, and he will continue to be the centerpiece going forward.

Melvin Gordon, Los Angeles Chargers, 132.50

Gordon has really stepped it up since his rookie season where he rushed for zero touchdowns, helping this Chargers offense become one of the best in the league scoring 29.2 points per game. In Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans he will look to keep the wheels churning. Gordon has amassed 446 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns, while adding 279 receiving yards and three more scores.

Saquon Barkley, New York Giants, 117.10

Barkley has lived up to all the hype coming out of Penn State, racking up 438 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns and 373 receiving yards with two additional touchdowns. On an offense that should produce more with the likes of Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard, Barkley has already steadied his way to being the best player on the team.

James Conner, Pittsburgh Steelers, 115.0

What a running back situation the Steelers have going into their bye week. Conner has 453 rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns and 257 receiving yards. Le’veon who? Conner has filled the role left by star running back Le’veon Bell.

Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints, 105.0

Kamara and the Saints backfield presents another interesting situation. In Mark Ingram’s first game back, Kamara was an afterthought. It will be interesting to see how the Saints approach their fortunate situation going forward. Thus far, Kamara has 299 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns and 351 receiving yards with a touchdown through the air.
