2. Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys

Prescott didn’t top 200 passing yards yet again in Week 6, but he had two touchdown passes and ran for a third score against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has multiple touchdown passes in two of his last three games, with an uptick as a runner (17 attempts) over the last two.

Surrounding a Week 8 bye, Prescott gets the Washington Redskins twice (Week 7, Week 12), the Philadelphia Eagles twice (Week 10, Week 14), the Atlanta Falcons (Week 11) and the New Orleans Saints (Week 13). All four of those teams enter Week 7 in the bottom half of the league against quarterbacks (ESPN scoring). Week 15 (Indianapolis Colts-ninth-worst vs. quarterbacks right now) and Week 16 (Tampa Bay Buccaneers-worst vs. quarterbacks right now) look good for Prescott too. The only especially tough-looking matchup comes in Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans

Prescott hasn’t been lighting it up through the air. But he’s back to using his legs, and he’s got at least a fairly favorable matchup every week from here on out this season. He’s worth adding as a high-end QB2 with QB1 upside in leagues with 12 or more teams.
