Albert Wilson, Miami Dolphins

Stats: six catches, 155 yards and two touchdowns

Albert Wilson torched his former offensive coordinator, Matt Nagy, this weekend. His performance came as bit of a surprised based on the circumstances. The Miami Dolphins were without their starting quarterback, Ryan Tannehill, and faced a very tough Chicago Bears defense.

It also didn’t play into Wilson’s favor that the Dolphins were among the lowest scoring offenses in the league. However, Wilson was able to use his quickness to breakoff some big plays.

Wilson is the Dolphins most consistent receiving threat. He has started to develop a rhythm with both Dolphins quarterbacks. However, his performance from this past weekend is unlikely to become the norm.

Miami’s offense just isn’t overly explosive with Adam Gase preferring to operate a cautious game plan. Wilson is still a solid add for a fantasy owner in need of some depth.

The fact that he has shown some breakout potential is a major selling point. However, he still gets enough targets to serve as a bye-week filler or flex play. His overall value will increase if the Dolphins some how start to open things up a little.

It’ll also be important to monitor the quarterback situation moving forward.
