High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Joe Ingles (at SAC – $5,800): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. You’re getting a fantastic shooter against a bad team. Ingles has extra value in DraftKings due to their three-point scoring and you know Ingles can knock it down with the best of them. He also contributes with rebounds and assists. It’s a must to get somebody from Utah against the Kings and if you’re looking for the most cost effective option, Ingles is our guy Diagnosis: He’s very reliable and up against one of the easiest matchups in the league. He’s guaranteed points and on a heavy night, you need some guaranteed points on your board.
Josh Jackson (vs DAL – $5,300): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. Jackson was red hot to end the season last year. A lot of that had to do with Devin Booker not playing much in the second half. The return of Booker is going to cut into Jackson’s production, but I like him as the second banana over TJ Warren. Dallas should be a much-improved team, but I need to see their defense before I can believe in it. If nothing else, the Suns top guys typical put up big fantasy numbers because someone has to for them. Diagnosis: A slight risk, but there’s reason to think he can build off of last season and be a strong second option this season.
Eric Gordon (vs NO – $5,100): Needs 22.5 fantasy points. If Gordon is going to start, it could go one of two ways. Either he benefits from the open shots he’ll receive playing next to Harden and Paul. Or it lessens his impact against opposing bench units. Against New Orleans, I’m guessing it will benefit him. He always has a little something extra against his former team. And he’s in the right offensive system to produce. There’s some risk involved, but if the Pelicans defense against three-point shooters is as bad as it was last season, the Rockets will feast. Diagnosis: Good value due to the matchup and the guys he’s playing next to.

Kent Bazemore ($5,700): A stable player on the Hawks against a terrible Knicks squad.
