High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jabari Parker (at PHI – $5,200): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. I’ve always liked Jabari Parker. I think he could have been a very good player if it weren’t for injuries. But because of injuries, and because he’s playing on a Bulls team that doesn’t make sense, I don’t know what to make of Parker. The potential is there. He can do a little bit of everything and he’s an affordable option. But I’m unconvinced. Diagnosis: Take at your own risk. Someone on the Bulls will put up numbers, I just don’t know who in game one.

Dario Saric (vs CHI – $5,500):  Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Saric contributed just 13.5 fantasy points against the Celtics. Chalk it up to a rough night and be confident that he’ll be better against the Bulls. He’s a better player than what he showed against the Celtics and has the perfect opportunity to bounce back. Diagnosis: Still has a high ceiling if he’s the third option and the Bulls are an easy matchup for Philadelphia on Thursday. He’ll rebound and score.

Markieff Morris (vs MIA – $5,000): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. If Howard doesn’t play, I love Morris. He’ll be used as the small ball center, which did wonders for him at the end of last season. If Howard plays, I’m not sure where Morris fits in the rotation. The Wizards have a lot of guys who need playing time and who can contribute. Morris is one of them, making it tough to pinpoint how much he’ll contribute. Knowing the system helps. Diagnosis: Take him with confidence if Howard doesn’t play. Proceed with caution if Howard plays.
