No. 1 Baker Mayfield vs. Tampa Bay

I’ll catch flack for this. I’ll catch extra flack if I’m wrong. Baker when his back is against the wall is fun to watch. The Browns get that Tampa Bay defense this week. I like this matchup.

We talked, even earlier in this post, about the Tampa Bay defense. They fired their DC, that doesn’t help in the short term typically. I’ve talked about Baker against the wall and I think this week he goes extra hard in this matchup.

I think that especially makes sense coming off his worst game of the season thus far. After beating the Ravens, Mayfield had just a 52.6 QBR against the Chargers with a touchdown and two interceptions. Yeah, that should change this week.

Tampa Bay is worst in the league against opposing quarterbacks and no joke they’ve given up 300 or more yards in every game this season. That’s real. They’ve also given up a league-high 16 touchdowns through the air and only have one interception.

Those bode well for a rookie quarterback in search of a season-defining performance.

Next. Sleeper RBs to target in Week 7. dark

I’ve got my eye on this matchup this week, keep an eye out for 6!
