No. 2 Saquon Barkley vs. Atlanta

The poor Giants sit at 1-5. Odell is struggling and isn’t happy. Eli is stuck at quarterback and this season is spiraling fast. Sorry for being so negative. Let’s talk positives! Saquon Barkley.

The talk all week has been “Should the Giants have drafted Darnold over Barkley?” Let’s stop this nonsense. The Giants were desperate for a running game and drafted a potential Hall of Famer who’s easily been the most exciting rookie so far, sorry Josh Allen.

Barkley had his best game in the loss to the Eagles last Thursday with 13 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown. Yes that’s a 10 yards per carry average. Let’s not guffaw over it but sheesh what an effort. They still lost by 21. Sorry still negative back to the positive.

The Falcons are up this week and I’m already penciling in the Giants for a loss but I think Barkley has another fantastic day in this game.

The Falcons have struggled against the run giving up six touchdowns on the year but interesting enough they’ve all come in three separate games with two a piece. Could Saquon be the next one? Uhh dot dot dot yes.
