Buffalo Bills @ Indianapolis Colts (-6.5)

The Buffalo Bills are still getting a ton of points on their lines, but they never look like a competent team. What this team basically does is take their terrible talent, and coach it up to the highest level possible. Sean McDermott is a great coach, at least it seems like that.

Here’s the thing, the Bills won’t have Josh Allen this week. They will start Derek Anderson, who they signed off the street this week.

There’s a report that McDermott could have lost the locker room because of Peterman. It makes perfect sense. We don’t even need to talk about the Colts, who are 1-5 to start the season. Who cares how many points the Colts are giving up, they are playing the Bills.

Detroit Lions (-1) @ Miami Dolphins

This was a hard line to even find, but the one place that has this line had the game originally as a pick’em, then moved it to Detroit Lions favored on the road against the Miami Dolphins. We get it. The Dolphins are starting Brock Osweiler. This is not a move that breeds confidence.

However, that home-field advantage is real at Hard Rock Stadium. The Dolphins are undefeated at home. They forced the opposing team to wear colors in the Miami heat, that’s forecasted to be 85 degrees at kickoff, and to go up slightly from there. It’s going to be very hot for a team that’s used to playing in Chicago. It’s caused them to go undefeated in Miami.

The Lions can have an explosive offense, and they are coming off a bye week, but betting against the Dolphins at home is not smart. Go with the Dolphins, and take the one point as insurance.
