Anthony Davis (vs SAC – $11,600): Needs 53.1 fantasy points. I’m just going to assume Davis will be over 70 fantasy points in every game this season. He said he’s the best player in the league and he’s definitely looking like it right now. The Kings will have absolutely no answer for him and with the way the Pelicans are playing, no team may have an answer for him. Diagnosis: It’s never a bad move to take Anthony Davis. Never. Definitely not this season.
Paul George (at LAC – $8,700): Needs 40.4 fantasy points. George got off to a slow start against the Warriors, but he turned it around in the second half for 44.5 fantasy points. The Clippers are not the Warriors. A healthy Russell Westbrook would do wonders for George as he won’t have to carry quite as much of the offensive load. But without Westbrook, he has a better chance to put up bigger numbers. Diagnosis: Good matchup and a reliable player with his all-around talent.
Julius Randle (vs SAC – $7,100): Needs 32.5 fantasy points. Randle is currently listed as probable. I always stay away from recommending injured players, which probably means he’s going to play. Check his status before making any decisions. Assuming he plays, expect another big game out of him. The Kings are overmatched and Randle is playing with a confidence that we saw last year when he was allowed to be confident. Diagnosis: Just build your entire fantasy team with Pelicans players after what we saw on Wednesday.
