High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Jimmy Butler (vs CLE – $9,500): Needs 39.8 fantasy points. Butler had 49.9 fantasy points against the Spurs. One thing I know about Butler is that he’s going to look for his, which is great for DFS players, even if it’s not great for his team. The Timberwolves still have the strangest situation in all of sports, but as long as Butler is playing, he’s going to put up numbers in all categories. The Cavaliers might be better than anyone expected, but their defense remains questionable at best. Diagnosis: Good matchup for a guy that puts up numbers in all categories.

Jrue Holiday (vs SAC – $8,100): Needs 33.9 fantasy points. Holiday didn’t play up to his usual standards against the Rockets, but they didn’t need him to be great. He finished with 28.6 fantasy points. I suspect he’ll be better against the Kings because he’s too good to struggle in back-to-back games, he’s on a very good team, and he’s playing the Kings. Diagnosis: Look for Holiday to return to form against a great matchup and take advantage of the slightly lower salary.

Khris Middleton (vs IND – $7,900): Needs 33.1 fantasy points. I continue to love Middleton’s game next to Giannis and will continue to recommend him until he lets me down. This is a great matchup and one that should produce plenty of fantasy studs given how good these offenses are. Middleton not only provides secondary scoring, but his rebounding numbers were up on opening night and he plays very good defense. Diagnosis: Once again, the guys around Giannis are going to benefit from his strong play.
