High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Dwyane Wade (vs CHA – $4,800):Needs 21.9 fantasy points. Wade’s last home opener in Miami. You don’t think he’ll want to put on a show? He’s played well coming off the bench in both games and now the Heat not only play at home for the first time this season, but they get a Hornets team on a back-to-back. Wade runs roughshod over opposing bench units and puts up numbers in all categories. Diagnosis: Good matchup and a blend of circumstances for Wade to at least hit value and possibly push 30 fantasy points.

Terry Rozier (at NY – $4,700):Needs 21.4 fantasy points. Both teams are on a back-to-back. The Celtics, who just lost to the Raptors, should have some extra pep to erase the bad taste of losing to their biggest threat in the east. This one could get out of hand, which means Rozier will see a decent amount of playing time. Diagnosis: Good matchup and still a low salary for a player of his caliber. Rozier is going to have a breakout game at some point and it may as well come against the Knicks.

Derrick Rose (at DAL – $3,800):Needs 17.9 fantasy points Look, This loves Rose. He’s not efficient and he’s not even all that good. But he plays big minutes for a team that loves to ISO on offense. And when Rose has the ball, he’s going to ISO. The Timberwolves are on a back-to-back, but the Mavericks defense didn’t look great against the Suns and the Timberwolves have enough talent to trouble them. He’s a low salary guy who gets big minutes. As always, minutes matter. Diagnosis: Rose plays more than he should. Take advantage of it.
