High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gary Harris (vs PHO – $6,200): Needs 25.7 fantasy points. Harris had an average start, finishing with 26.6 fantasy points against the Clippers. He’s too good of a player to performer at that level for long. He gets big minutes as the Nuggets starter and should be able to get his scoring going against a Suns defense that isn’t very good. Diagnosis: Trust him to bounce back after a mediocre start to the season. The Suns defense has proven nothing yet.

Dwyane Wade (vs CHA – $4,800): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. This could be Wade’s last home opener in Miami, so you know he’ll want to make it a memorable one. Even if “last home opener” seems like such a trivial thing. Wade has played well in both games this season, going over 20 fantasy points in both contests. The Hornets are on the road and on a back-to-back. Wade still remains a well-rounded threat against opposing second units. Diagnosis: Reliable option with a high ceiling. Could explode given the circumstances.

Josh Hart (vs HOU – $4,300): Needs 17.8 fantasy points. Hart built off a strong end to last season and a Summer League MVP with 39.3 fantasy points on opening night. He gets defensive numbers and he’s not afraid to shoot and he might be the best shooter on a team that can’t shoot. Against the Rockets, they’ll need that ability if they want to keep pace. He’s hot right now and has forced his way into the rotation, turning out to be a better option than KCP. Diagnosis: Should get playing time thanks to his shooting ability. Could be an offensive shootout with the way both defenses looked on opening night.
