HBO’s newest comedy drama Camping continues with “Going To Town.” Here’s what you need to know to watch Camping on TV and online.
HBO’s Camping is an adaptation from a show by the same name originating in the UK, but there’s no question that the American version is perfect thanks to the glorious casting of Jennifer Garner and David Tennant. Garner’s obsessive-compulsive Kathryn makes things so awkward that it’s almost painful to watch in the best of ways.
This week’s all-new episode features Kathryn going full Mama Bear as Orvis gets hurt during a flag football outing, and while she takes him to the hospital the rest of the party has a little fun.
Here is the episode description and the trailer for Camping, “Going To Town”:
“Kathryn and Walt rush Orvis to the hospital following a game of flag football; while visiting a local bar, a racially charged remark to Nina-Joy awakens George’s rage; Miguel and Jandice create real issues for a prissy shop owner.”
Camping works so well because Kathryn’s character is larger than life and the rest of the cast complements Garner’s over the top persona. We all know people like Kathryn and her husband, and their circle of friends are also easy to identify with, which adds to the fun.
When Kathryn learns that the rest of the group went out drinking while she and Walt were at the hospital she’ll no doubt be furious, and seeing a furious Kathryn will be a real treat.
