Kevin Love (vs ATL – $8,500):Needs 38.5 fantasy points. Minnesota Love was back in the building. No, really. The Cavaliers were playing the Timberwolves in Minnesota. Love looked like the guy who used to destroy teams as the best player on a not so great Minnesota squad. He’s in a similar scenario now. And he’s going up against a squad that is worse than Cleveland, who just so happens to be banged up in the frontcourt. Diagnosis: There’s everything to love about Kevin on Sunday. From his ability to put up numbers in all categories to the matchup. My favorite play on the night.
Tobias Harris (vs HOU – $7,700):Needs 35.7 fantasy points. Harris has gone over 40 fantasy points in both games to start the season. The Rockets are on a back-to-back, but at least they didn’t have to travel after playing the Lakers on Saturday. The Clippers have looked solid offensively thanks in large part to the contributions of Harris. He’s a consistent scorer and the best rebounder on LAC with DeAndre Jordan out of town. Averaged 41 fantasy points in three games against Houston last season. Diagnosis: All signs point to another good showing from Harris. It’s a matchup he’s done well against and if the Rockets are tired, he can take advantage of them on the glass.
Draymond Green (at DEN – $6,800):Needs 30.8 fantasy. You sort of know what you’re going to get from Green. He’s rarely going to put up big scoring numbers, but he’s a triple-double threat every time he steps onto the court. He averaged 40.4 fantasy points in four games against the Nuggets last season. He’s a fairly reliable option with a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Good matchup given the offense involved on both teams. Feels like the kind of game where he makes a big impact on both ends of the floor.
