High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Danilo Gallinari (vs HOU – $5,900):Needs 27.3 fantasy points. Gallinari is healthy and it’s led to a good start for the Clippers forward. He’s coming off a 35.75 fantasy point performance against the Thunder on Oct. 19. The Clippers will need his offense if they want to keep pace with the Rockets. And given the state of the Rockets defense, Gallinari can certainly make an impact on offense. Diagnosis: He and Harris have been the two best players for the Clippers in the young season. I like him to get plenty of points in this one to go along with a handful of rebounds.

Marvin Bagley III (at OKC – $5,100):Needs 23.4 fantasy points. After a tough rookie debut, Bagley III had 41 fantasy points against the Pelicans. At his best, he’s going to get points and rebounds. I don’t know what it is, but the Thunder always make rookies look better than rookies. It’s probably why everyone thinks Donovan Mitchell is the second coming of Jordan (he is). Diagnosis: A risky player because there’s no real feel for him and the Thunder, on paper, are a tough matchup for a rookie. Be cautious, but he’s shown the potential already.

Montrezl Harrell (vs HOU – $4,000): Harrell hasn’t made much of an impact thus far this season, but Houston is a matchup he can play more against. He did have a a 32.5 fantasy point effort against the Rockets last season. He also had a 6.25 fantasy point effort, which goes to show how inconsistent his play was last season. If he plays, I think he can have some sort of impact, at least more than Marcin Gortat. But I don’t know how often he’ll play. Diagnosis: High-risk, high-reward player.
