High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Danilo Gallinari (vs HOU – $6,500):Needs 27.2 fantasy points. Gallinari is looking healthy and that’s a good sign for the Clippers and potential DFS owners. He’s not only getting points, but he’s chipping in with rebounds as well. As long as he continues to shoot the way he has, he’s a worthwhile addition. The Rockets are on a back-to-back (although they didn’t have to travel) and the Clippers will need Gallinari’s shot making if they want to keep pace with Houston. Diagnosis: Ride the hot hand. Gallinari has always been a good offensive player when healthy.

Gerald Green (at LAC – $3,700):Needs 15.5 fantasy points. While not confirmed as of this writing, it’s likely that Chris Paul gets suspended for at least a game. With him out, Green should play a bigger role coming off the bench. He’s a better scorer at this point than Carmelo, and while his rebounding numbers aren’t as good, expecting Melo to grab 10 boards again seems foolish. Diagnosis: A low cost option with some upside given the circumstances.

DeAndre’ Bembry (at CLE – $3,900):Needs 16.3 fantasy points. Membry hasn’t been great early in the season, but at this salary I think he could be a steal. First off, he plays big minutes. Anytime a low salary guys gets as many minutes as Bembry has gotten early this season, there’s always a chance he turns into a steal. Second, he can do a bit of everything on his best night. Finally, the Cavaliers haven’t shown they can stop anyone. Diagnosis: A low risk, medium reward player. At worst, his score will be dropped from your lineup and you can use the saved money elsewhere.
