High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jerami Grant (vs SAC – $4,800):Needs 20.2 fantasy points. Grant has been solid if unspectacular in the first two games. The scoring isn’t there, but he’ll grab rebounds and come up with a couple of blocks. If Westbrook is back in the lineup, his scoring may see a slight increase because he does have chemistry with Westbrook on the pick-and-roll. As always, the Kings are a matchup you should typically pound. Diagnosis: Should at least give you value, maybe more if Westbrook plays. Don’t count on a huge game.

Marvin Bagley III (at OKC – $4,200):Needs 17.7 fantasy points. Bagley III had 44.1 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Oct. 19. He did a lot bit of everything in that game and show why the Kings thought he was the best player in the draft. It’s always tough to get a read on rookies on bad teams and the Thunder, on paper, are a good team. But they have a habit of making rookies look like All-Stars. Diagnosis: Showed a lot in his second game that gives me hope for this one. But if you don’t trust rookies, I don’t blame you.

Jonas Jerebko (at DEN – $3,500): The hero on Friday for the Warriors had 20.7 fantasy points. I don’t know if he can replicate that, but it seems like any big on the Warriors is going to get fantasy points because Warriors. Interestingly, Jerebko averaged 23.6 fantasy points in two games against the Nuggets last season. Diagnosis: It’s possible he is the secret weapon for the Warriors again. It’s also possible he doesn’t play a single minute.
