Tight End: David Njoku, Cleveland Browns- $5,700

This week’s stack comes from the Cleveland Browns. Yes, the Cleveland Browns. Even though the Browns dropped their last contest to the Chargers, this is a new team with Baker Mayfield under center. One player that is definitely benefiting from the quarterback switch is, Njoku.

Last week, the second-year tight end snagged his first touchdown of the year in the fourth quarter. He finished the afternoon with 15 fantasy points, scoring in double digits for the first time this season.

Through six games, Njoku has caught 27 passes for 245 yards and one touchdown. He is ranked sixth amongst tight ends in receptions, along with Jimmy Graham, George Kittle and Kyle Rudolph.

Since Mayfield became the starting quarterback, Njoku is averaging 10 targets and six catches for 59 yards per game. Njoku has more targets in his last two games than his first three combined, with Tyrod Taylor as quarterback.

With Taylor running the offense, Njoku tallied 11.4 fantasy points, under Mayfield’s command, Njoku already has amassed 32.6 points.

Njoku has a great Week 7 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa has allowed opposing tight ends to compile 486 yards receiving yards, second most int he NFL. The position group is averaging 16.9 fantasy points per game against the Buccaneers, most in the league.

In there last three games, the Buccaneers have allowed tight ends to record 70+ receiving yards and one touchdown.

This is a perfect game for Njoku and the Browns to get back on track and they should be able to take advantage of a very weak Buccaneers defense.
