3. Chris Conley vs. Cincinnati

Chris Conley is just another cog in the machine for Kansas City. A good piece I might add to a talented receiver core that includes Travis Kelce, because he’s basically a wideout.

Short yardage situations are where Conley has thrived and it’s evident in the 8.2 yards per catch average he’s carrying right now. His two touchdowns on the year? Under 20 yards. He’s a good redzone target. The Chiefs get a frustrated Cincinnati team this week, a team that also lost late last week, to an Antonio Brown touchdown.

This is a tougher matchup for Cincinnati and I think they play up for it. Mahomes will be forced to look around at second, third, fourth options. Conley can clean up and I think the matchup is good for it.

Conley hasn’t had more than four catches in a game and only has three over the past two weeks. I know, I know, that doesn’t breed success. These are sleepers people. Big, small, rare, obvious, we cover it all. Conley and the Chiefs will be looking to get back on track this weekend. I like them to do that and to have Conley play a factor in the process.
