SALT LAKE CITY, UT – APRIL 23: Jae Crowder /

High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Wesley Matthews (vs CHI – $5,000): Needs 22.6 fantasy points. With Harrison Barnes missing time, Matthews has filled in nicely from a fantasy perspective. Barnes is currently listed as questionable for Monday. If he ends up playing, Matthews value takes a hit. Matthews should continue to get his shots with Barnes out of the lineup and the Bulls aren’t the defense to stop them. Diagnosis: Good matchup for a reliable option.

Jae Crowder (vs MEM – $4,700): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. Crowder has picked up right where he left off when he was traded from the Cavaliers last season. He’s averaging 28.5 fantasy points in tow games thus far. Even though he comes off the bench, he plays big minutes and his versatility keeps him in any lineup. Diagnosis: Good scorer and rebounder on a good team against a good matchup. Things look good for Crowder.

Justin Holiday (at DAL – $4,500): Needs 20.4 fantasy points. Holiday had 34.5 fantasy points against the Pistons on Oct. 20. He’s an inconsistent option, but he starts and plays big minutes. On a low salary against a good matchup, those are two valuable traits to have. His value is largely tied to his scoring, but he can chip in with rebounds. Diagnosis: Minutes matter and Holiday gets minutes. The matchup is favorable as this game should produce some value performances.
