High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs NY – $11,100): Needs 51.1 fantasy points. Giannis hasn’t gone over 60 fantasy points yet this season, which is what you would like to see from him given the salary, but he’s still been a great option. He’s going to at least hit value and given his role on the team, and the matchup, he can always do more. Yes, he costs you a lot, but there’s plenty of value to be had on a big night of action and it’s never a bad thing to take a guaranteed 50-plus fantasy points. Diagnosis: He’s Giannis. He’s going to get his numbers and then some.

LaMarcus Aldridge (at LAL – $7,800): Needs 35.6 fantasy points. Aldridge had a rough outing against the Blazers, finishing with 33.5 fantasy points. I’m not concerned as it was likely just an off night for the usually reliable Aldridge. I’m definitely not concerned when the Spurs play the Lakers because the Lakers have no great interior presence. Aldridge should get his points and rebounds without much of an issue. Diagnosis: Good matchup and Aldridge will get his chances against the undersized squad. Expect him to bounce back in a big way.

Jayson Tatum (vs ORL – $7,500): Needs 34.5 fantasy points. Tatum is off to a strong start, averaging 34.5 fantasy points in three games. The Celtics have been a little inconsistent as a team, but Tatum has been steady for DFS owners. He’s getting it done with his scoring and his rebounding. The Magic likely won’t have an answer for him, which should lead for another strong game for the sophomore. Diagnosis: No reason to doubt Tatum at the moment. Especially with this matchup.
