This past week saw a few under the radar players breakout and have big fantasy football days.

Usually this late in the season there aren’t many breakout performances that occur in one week. However, that wasn’t the case for this past weekend. There were a handful of strong fantasy football performances in Week 7.

Something that stands out from this week’s breakout performers is that a few of them are more likely to remain relevant moving forward.

In the case of Nick Chubb, we see a player who has stepped into the starting role and produced. He’s not your typically breakout player in that he’s almost guaranteed to see a heavy workload each week.

If Chubb happens to still be available in your league he’s someone you need to target. He’ll be one of the hotter waiver wire pickups on the season.

Last week’s breakout performers saw some continued success. Latavius Murray again stepped in for the injured Dalvin Cook and produced. He finished the game with 69 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Murray has done enough that he should remain in the rotation even when Cook returns to action.

Raheem Mostert also had another solid fantasy football day. He finished with 59 rushing yards while averaging 8.4 yards per carry. Mostert will still split carries with Matt Breida and Alfred Morris, but he should remain in the mix.

The Miami Dolphins were again feeding the ball to Albert Wilson until he went out with a hip injury. There are reports that this could be a major injury which could cost Wilson several weeks. That’s unfortunate as he looked to be finding his stride.
