High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Kemba Walker (at CHI – $8,400): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. Kemba Walker against the Bulls? Yes, please. Walker is dominating with his scoring right now and there’s no reason to think the Bulls will be the team to slow him down. If Walker isn’t pushing 50 fantasy points in this game, either the Hornets are winning in a route or Walker just has an off-night. I’ll count on him not having an off-night and the Hornets defense to let the Bulls hang around. Diagnosis: High salary, but high ceiling. Scoring better than anyone in the league right now.

Kyle Lowry (vs MIN – $7,600): Needs 35.9 fantasy points. Lowry might not be the best player on the Raptors, but he might be the most reliable. You know he’s going to put up numbers in all categories and control the pace of the game from the guard position. The Timberwolves aren’t stopping the Raptors, which means they aren’t stopping Lowry. He’ll get his numbers without issue. Diagnosis: Good matchup and has shown the ability go over 45 fantasy points and make it look easy.

Trae Young (vs DAL – $7,200): Needs 34 fantasy points. It’s always tough for me to trust rookies because of how inconsistent they can be, but Young was most impressive against the Cavaliers and the Mavericks are another great matchup for him. Maybe he doesn’t have 60-plus fantasy points, but he should be in line for another strong performance. Diagnosis: Good matchup and someone who gets hot in a hurry, plus dishes out assists. May have something extra against the Mavericks due to the trade.
