High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

DeMar DeRozan (vs IND – $8,200): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. DeRozan has been impressive in San Antonio and he’s coming off a 63.6 fantasy point effort against the Lakers. Scoring is rarely an issue for him, but he’s becoming a playmaker under Gregg Popovich, which is a scary thought. He had 14 assists against the Lakers. The Pacers are vulnerable right now and the Spurs always get their stars involved in their system. Diagnosis: Good matchup and an excellent start to the season. He’ll continue to score and if the assists aren’t a myth, this salary is too low compared to other players.

Devin Booker (vs LAL – $8,000): Needs 33.4 fantasy points. The Lakers defense has shown nothing this season, and while Booker hasn’t reached the level we saw on opening night, there’s still a lot to like about his game. He does a bit of everything and can have big scoring games on top of his rebounding and assists. Everyone brings their best against the Lakers and we know Booker isn’t afraid of the moment. Diagnosis: I love the matchup and I expect Booker to shine bright against Los Angeles.

Caris LeVert (at CLE – $6,900): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. LeVert is averaging 37.6 fantasy points in three games this year. That’s well above the number he needs on Wednesday. His production has dropped with every game, but some of that has been minutes related. Against the Cavaliers, he’s going to score and pick up a handful of assists and rebounds. Diagnosis: Great salary for a guy who is playing well and has a favorable matchup.
