The daily fantasy football craze continues to grow making setting your weekly lineup an exciting point in your week.

Week 8 of the NFL season features several matchups that look great for fantasy football. Identifying these matchups are key to setting a strong FanDuel lineup and hopefully scoring a big payout.

This upcoming week is missing some talented options with teams on bye. The Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans all have the week off.

Losing Matt Ryan and Philip Rivers out of the quarterback pool created some tough decisions. Luckily, there were a few options that jumped off the schedule. The two I identify in this article could be major assets.

My quarterback call of Baker Mayfield last week was saved by some late-game scoring. However, Mayfield’s cost lined up pretty nicely with his actual production. It allowed me to get both Todd Gurley and Marlin Mack into my lineup.

This week my quarterback choices are a little more expensive which limited my options elsewhere. The problem here was I had a tough time identifying good value further down the list. There really wasn’t a low-cost high-upside play.

Spending more at the quarterback position this week impacted my overall lineup. I had to go with some lower cost options at tight end and wide receiver.

Luckily, I felt comfortable with a few of the options at those positions. There was a reliable veteran available at tight end for a reasonable price. While the receiver spot offered a high upside play.
