Fantasy football 2018, Week 8 rankings: Who to start and sit
By Jon Dove
Week 8 of the fantasy football season has plenty of high scoring opportunities if you start the right players.
This week the Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans on bye. There will be a few fantasy football owners who need to hit the waiver wire to find a replacement for some starters.
The quarterback spot is hit particularly hard with Matt Ryan and Philip Rivers off this week. This creates a situation where finding the top streaming quarterback could mean the difference between a win and a loss.
Some of the better options include Baker Mayfield, C.J. Beathard and Mitch Trubisky. Mayfield and Beathard are the two most likely to be available in your league.
Trubisky has had a few excellent fantasy performances the past couple weeks. It’s a long shot that he’s available, but he’s worth an add if he’s on the waiver wire. The Chicago Bears face the New York Jets this week and have shown a very aggressive offensive approach.
This week is an opportunity for you to get all your Indianapolis Colts players in the lineup. They have a favorable matchup against the Oakland Raiders. Andrew Luck and Marlon Mack are boarder line must starts.
The same could be said about any New England Patriot on your roster. They face the Buffalo Bills who are having a rough season. New England’s defense is one of the strong fantasy plays of the week.
