Start: Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks

@ Detroit Lions

The Seattle Seahawks have shown a lot of trust in Chris Carson and he has rewarded that trust. Carson has emerged as the team’s top running back and someone who helps balance out the offensive attack.

His success in recent weeks has helped the Seahawks entire offense get on track. Seattle has made a point of getting Carson touches. The fact that he’s averaging 4.5 yards per carry on the year helps the Seahawks continue feeding him the ball.

This week Carson is matched up against a Detroit Lions defense that is allowing nearly 140 rushing yards per game.

The Lions did just trade for Damon Harrison, but it’s a long shot that he’ll be able to make a major impact this week. He needs to get into Detroit and start learning the defense before he can see significant playing time.

Sit: Alex Collins, Baltimore Ravens

@ Carolina Panthers

The Baltimore Ravens  usage of Alex Collins has been one of the more frustrating situations in all of fantasy football. However, Collins himself hasn’t done much to help his cause. He’s averaging under four yards per carry while still dealing with fumble issues.

This week Collins faces a tough Carolina Panthers defense that is stout against the run.
