49. . Defensive Lineman. Alabama. Raekwon Davis. 23. player

The Green Bay Packers are a team that could be a Super Bowl contender this season, but they need to get better on defense if they are going to get there. Aaron Rodgers is still one of the best quarterbacks in football, but he has been playing on one leg, and cannot be expected to be Superman every week.

This defense in Green Bay has a lot of holes, and after the season, they could have even more holes to fill. They have some veteran contracts up front on defense that are coming to an end, and they may want to add talent via the NFL Draft instead of paying them big money to return.

One player who could be available this late in round one is Raekwon Davis from Alabama, who happens to be one of the more versatile defensive linemen in this draft class. Davis has the size, and speed to play on the inside, or on the edge, and would be a welcome addition to a Packers defense that struggled up front.

Green Bay is going to make a run this season, as Rodgers has shown he can win games in this league on one leg. If the defense steps up, the can certainly win the NFC North, but I am not sure they have enough talent on that side of the ball to get the job done in January.
