1. Gareon Conley

Conley fell in the draft due to off field concerns, but it’s his play on the field that’s gotten him into Gruden’s doghouse. He’s clearly a player the Raiders want to move this week.

Interestingly enough, there are a lot of teams that disagree with Gruden’s evaluation. Jason La Confora is reporting that the Eagles, Patriots and Steelers all have interest in making a deal to bring him in this season.

The interest of so many other teams could put Oakland in a good spot here. Talented cornerbacks are at a premium in the NFL. If another team believes Conley can step in and start for them they may be inclined to give up a second round pick to secure his services. The Raiders would be thrilled to get that sort of return for a player Gruden doesn’t value.

Next. Raiders are headed for the No. 1 pick. dark

This is the kind of trade that could really come back and bite Oakland in the end. Conley is a young, talented player. He’s the sort of guy Gruden should be building around rather than shipping out. He’s the most valuable guy on this list, but he’s also the player who could make the Raiders look the worst in the end.
