On Wednesday, PSG host Napoli at Parc des Princes in the first of back to back games against each other. The two games will be a huge role in determining if both clubs advance to the knockout stage or if one team will end up in the Europa League.
After losing to Liverpool in their first game, PSG return to the French capital and beat up on Red Star Belgrade, winning 6-1. PSG have scored at least three goals in every game except the one against Liverpool when they scored twice. Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have both scored 11 goals in all competitions, while Edison Cavani and Angel Di Maria have both scored six times. With so many options, PSG are extremely difficult to slow down. However, as Liverpool showed, PSG can be prone to mistakes in their own end that cost them goals.
Napoli settled for a draw against Red Star Belgrade in Serbia their first Champions League game. After the disappointing result, Carlo Ancelotti rallied his team and they were able to beat Liverpool 1-0 after a late goal from Lorenzo Insigne. Domestically, Napoli are second in Serie A, winning seven of their first nine games. Insigne has had a great start to the season for the Little Donkeys, scoring a team-best seven goals in all competitions. In their own end of the field, Napoli will rely on Kalidou Koulibaly to slow down the vaunted PSG attack.
