WWE Evolution: Confirmed participants for Historic Women’s Battle Royal

Here are the confirmed participants for the Historic Women’s Battle Royal at the inaugural edition of the WWE Evolution pay-per-view.
On what will be a trailblazing night at WWE Evolution, the Historic Women’s Battle Royal will be one of the featured matches at the first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view event.
On a night that will see RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey take on Nikki Bella, SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch once again battle rival Charlotte Flair in the first-ever Last Woman Standing Match and WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita returning to duke it out with Alexa Bliss (hopefully) and Mickie James, the Historic Women’s Battle Royal will see at least 21 past, present and future stars of WWE compete for the opportunity to compete for a women’s championship in the future.
Between the WWE Women’s Championship, the Divas Championship, the RAW Women’s Championship, the SmackDown Women’s Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship, there are 11 former champions in the match and also two WWE Hall of Famers in Alundra Blayze and Ivory.
It’s not yet known when exactly the winner would be getting her title shot, but I can imagine that it would be saved for a big show, possibly at Survivor Series or the Royal Rumble to shake things up even more. While it would be interesting to see one of the past superstars emerge victorious, that doesn’t seem likely as the roster of women in WWE is as strong as it’s ever been. Asuka was the first winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble and Naomi won the battle royal at WrestleMania, so it would be difficult to see a repeat from either one of them, which opens the door for the likes of Ember Moon and Nia Jax to make a little history.
