Welcome to what will be a daily Fantasy Basketball player pool and mass multi entry strategy for both Draftkings and FanDuel.
Daily Fantasy Basketball Player Pool and MME Strategy for 10/25/18
There are a couple of different ways to approach MME for Fantasy Basketball – one way is to just put a few DFS NBA lineups in a bunch of tournaments, a strategy I do not recommend. The other is to be selective in the tournaments and enter those with the maximum lineups allowed. While everyone dreams of taking down a gpp with a life changing prize pool, my focus is on maximizing the number of entries that are competitive and finishing above the cash line and turning a profit on a more consistent basis. You will hear a lot about building a core group of players and building your lines around it but with MME this is hardly the case.
The goal is to create a player pool of both low and high risk plays, limiting exposure to the high risk plays and using a lineup tool (free or premium works). Using the csv edit option on both sites is the easiest way to enter in all your lineups once you have generated and here are links on how to do this – Fanduel CSV Draftkings CSV. With that being said, let’s get to our pool for tonight.

I really enjoyed rambling through things in yesterday’s article so I think I will continue today. I hope you were all able to take advantage of my punt special Damyean Dotson who at $3500 on DraftKings returned a value of 10x. My projections had him at just under 5.5x return on value which is very strong for a minimum salary play. We will attempt to locate that gem again tonight but first things first.
The Lakers are on a back to back and playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. What is interesting here is what Jamal Murray said a couple of nights ago. He said that LeBron James is the greatest right now but Michael Jordan is still number one. He then goes on to state that his order of preference is Jordan, Kobe Bryant, then LeBron. I can be a narrative guy at times and if LeBron plays, I have a feeling he’ss going to have something to say on the court at home against an undefeated up and coming Nuggets squad.
I like all aspects of this game and we can expect a high scoring fast paced contest here. We will ride with LeBron, Josh Hart, Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma and Javale McGee for the Lakers. As for the Nuggets my research saysto stick with Gary Harris and his 21ppg average and also Nikola Jokic. We will punt with Trey Lyles and Monte Morris.
In the Celtics and Thunder matchup there are only four plays here because the other 2 games is where we will find our value – Russell Westbrook (should be your player with most exposure), Paul George, Kyrie Irving and Steven Adams. Yes, there are other plays from these squads but to beat the field we need to be somewhat contrarian on a 4 game slate and this is a good spot to do so.
In the Cavaliers and Pistons matchup we can expect to see the herd flock to Blake Griffin based on recent performance but I think this is a letdown spot. I hope I am wrong because he is on a nice run and my shares will be minimal. Out of 100 lines I will have 10 percent because I am not a complete moron to fully fade or maybe I dont have the balls, or both, who knows. We obviously like Andre Drummond and Kevin Love but I am looking at Cedi Osman, Reggie Bullock, and Jordan Clarkson. Those 3 are good value plays that can yield returns of up to 7x.
Lastly let’s talk Portland and Orlando. Damian Lillard, Nikola Vucevic are the 2 studs here. I think we can fade Aaron Gordon and pivot to Ecan Fournier for nearly the same output at a much lesser cost. Evan Turner continues to be underpriced, $4200 on DK yet Coach Stotts has said he will be sitting Lillard and CJ McCollum together to allow Turner to run the 2nd unit and all he has done is return 6x value each night. He is the pint special today and if you do not plan on mass or max entering tourneys, make sure you plug him in. I also do not mind Zach Collins here either and we should give him some shares in tonight’s pool.
Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter @dfsenchilada as I will be adding my value plays and posting player updates. You can also follow this link to my projections for tonight which will update at 5pm, 6pm, and 6:45pm. Have fun and good luck!!
