Daily Fantasy Basketball Cash Game Tiers – Friday Oct 26
Here I will break down the best Daily Fantasy Basketball cash play core plays for the NBA Fanduel main slate. This is mostly a first look breakdown with late news not available. As always follow me on twitter @dfs_joey as I will be updating plays from the article if there are any relevant inactives that we were not expecting,
Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Point Guard
Top Tier
Kemba Walker 8.5k: After a long 4 game road stint he’s finally home and it’s time to load up on him. Cameron Payne will have to find a way how to guard him. Kemba might be on his best start of his career and he’s already has 2 games over 40 real life points. If he goes for 40 I would not be surprised.
Middle Tier
Eric Bledsoe 7.4k: I feel like this guy has been off my radar all season but he’s been quietly putting up big numbers. Now he finds himself in a great matchup in what should also be a high scoring game. I like his potential to be a low owned cash play.
Cheap Tier
Derrick Rose 4.9k: If Andrew Wiggins is out again than Rose will have a huge bump again like he has been with Wiggins out. Rose is starting to look like dare I say it vintage Rose. I wont go that far but he has looked great and I will continue to roster him as long as Wiggins is out; his upside is just too nice.
Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Shooting Guard
Top Tier
Jimmy Butler 9.4k: If Andrew Wiggins is out again Butler should see another big floor game. With Andrew Wiggins questionable to play Butler will be a great play again if you want to pay up in cash. I’ve added a bunch of Wolves so if you have the rest I wouldn’t play Butler too, but if not he’s a great one-off in this game.
Middle Tier
Eric Gordon 6.5k: Last game he was 3-19 and 0-11 from 3 and still managed to put up 22.3 fantasy points. His shot should regress back to the mean tonight. He should easily hit value with James Harden out. He had 3 30 point games with Harden out and just 2 30 point games when he was playing. He gets huge boost and love him in cash. GPP Pivot: Damyeon Dotson
Cheap Tier
Josh Okogie 4.2k: If Andrew Wiggins is still out we will have to start considering him in cash games. He’s cheap enough to still hit value and he’s getting big minutes. He’s averaging around 1 fantasy point per minute which is huge at that price for the minutes he’s getting.
Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Small Forward
Top Tier
Giannis Antetokounmpo 12.3k: He is the safer cash play out of the studs. His usage rate is through the roof and he should be playing in the best game on the slate. I want to get a bunch of exposure here. It might not be the highest scoring game on the slate but it will stay close and offer a ton of fantasy relevant players.
Middle Tier
Carmelo Anthony 6.4k: He’s finally back to playing big minutes and with James Harden they will be needing someone to pick up the scoring. Melo loves to shoot the ball I could see him jacking up 20 shots.
Cheap Tier
Jeff Green 3.7k: He’s a flyer for me that I really like. He’s been able to reach over 20 fantasy points twice and at least 18 in 3/4 games. He should easily be able to reach cash value in another game with Dwight Howard and if Mahinmi is out again he gets an even bigger boost.
Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Power Forward
Top Tier
Anthony Davis 13k: He is the only top-tier PF on the slate and he’s in one of the top match-up you get for power forwards and centers. Davis plays a hybrid role so when he slides to the center position he will murder this match-up.
Middle Tier
Markieff Morris 5.5k: With Dwight Howard still out Morris will continue to be a good cash play. He has the floor now to be safe for cash and has the upside to be a great play. he’s playing.
Cheap Tier
Marvin Williams 4.8K: He’s getting big minutes and they are going up against the same team they just played. Weird. Now with no Portis the middle of the paint is even more open than before!
Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Center
Top Tier
Karl-Anthony Towns 8.5K: This game should stay close all game so no worry of a blowout like in a lot of the other games. Milwaukee gives up the 7th most points to centers in the league so that should give a huge boost to KAT for scoring in a season where he has struggled to hit value.

Middle Tier
Brook Lopez 5.8k: Middle Tier is tough. There’s not much in this tier for cash value. I think he could quietly emerge as a great play tonight. He’s going up against the Timberwolves who I love to target with Centers. KAT is a great player but his defense definitely needs some work. GPP Pivot: Julius Randle
Cheap Tier
Cristino Felicio 3.5k: With Bobby Portis out tonight Felicio might be back to playing big minutes. we saw him play 16 minutes last game. He didn’t come in after Portis went down with an injury but I could still see him playing 25 minutes. GPP Pivot: ED Davis
