Draftkings NBA Main Slate Targets: Friday, Oct 26 – Guards

Chris Paul ($9,200): Cash and GPPs

Paul is coming back from his two game suspension. He is going to have a massive usage bump without James Harden. Mark Stein reported “The Rockets say James Harden (hamstring) will miss the next two games”.

Last game, Paul shot 9-of-17 with 28 points and 10 assists, for a total of 55.3 DKFP with Harden in. Fire him up confidently with Harden out and the revenge game narrative playing against his former team.

De’Aaron Fox ($6,800): Cash and GPPs

Fox is in a great spot tonight at home. Not only will he be low owned with this game being the last on the slate, the Wizards are giving up the most points to point guards this season.

Last two games at home, Fox was 7-of-16 and 6-of-16 shooting for a total of 45 DKFP and 41 DKFP. Keep drafting him until his price rises beyond his upside.

D’Angelo Russell ($6,200): Cash and GPPs

Russell is in a great spot going against the Pelicans who allow the 4th most points to point guards this season. Russell is also trending in the right direction in minutes, besides the blowout in the last game versus Cleveland.

Russell has been shooting 5-of-14, 5-of-16, and 5-of-12 the last three games playing 27, 31, and 34 minutes. After the last game where Atkinson pulled Russell early out of the game versus the Pelicans, he might have an extra chip on his shoulder tonight.

Kemba Walker ($8,200): Cash

Walker has been on fire to start the season. He has one of the highest usage rates  of 31% on the slate. Walker has been playing the minutes we want to see, playing 36, 34, and 40 minutes the last three games.

The only thing I am hesitant on is the blowout risk the game has. With Portis being already ruled out ”several weeks”  , I find a hard time seeing this game staying close.

Cam Payne ($4,600): Cash and GPPs

Payne is getting the start for Kris Dunn who is out 4-6 weeks with a MCL sprain.  His price is too low when he starts, 7-of-13 and 6-of-12 shooting and playing 31 and 28 minutes scoring 39.3 DKFP and 26.3 DKFP.  If you believe this game stays close, load him up.

Other options: Elfrid Payton ($6,700), John Wall ($8,500) Luka Doncic ($6,800)

Shooting Guards

When it comes to Shooting Guards I typically look for a value play that can open up the studs on the slate. Normally, I find this play closer to lock, such as Josh Okogie getting the start for Andrew Wiggins last night. Tonight, there are a few value plays at Shooting Guards you can feel confident in.

Eric Gordon ($6,100) Cash and GPPs

Gordon is going to receive a usage and minutes bump without Harden being available. At his current price on Draftkings I do not see him having a hard time reaching value and leaving plenty of room for upside. Last two games Gordon has shot 5-of-21 and 7-of-18 playing 40 and 33 minutes the last two games.

Danny Green ($4,200): Cash and GPPs

Green does not put up the massive shot attempts you would like to see, but he is in a great spot tonight. Dallas is giving up the most points to shooting guards this season.  Green is also seeing the minutes we would like, if he can raise his shot attempts up he can be in for a great game.

Green shot 2-of-8, 6-of-8, and 1-of-9 playing 31, 26, and 31 minutes the last three games. Even though he has not been shooting many attempts, his peripherals are there and his price is still too low.

Bradley Beal ($7,600) Cash

Beal is coming off an embarrassing game versus the Warriors where he only played 19 minutes. Beal and John Wall seemed to get into foul trouble early, but were left in the shadows of Stephen Curry‘s shooting.

If the Kings can keep this game close, which Vegas is guessing it will, then Beal and Wall can be in a good spot tonight. Beal was shooting 10-of-25 and 12-of-21 for 50 DKFP and 51.3 DKFP the last two games before the Warriors.

Damyean Dotson ($4,200): Cash and GPPs

Dotson has done very well for me lately the last few games he played. Draftkings has finally started to raise his price, but with his recent production we can still target him in both Cash and GPPs.

Dotson is trending in the right direction, last two game he played 34 and 32 minutes, shooting 8-of-14 and 5-of-13, for a total for 42 and 30 DKFP. Keep playing Dotson who could see extra run if this game gets out of hand.

Other options: Joe Harris ($4,800), Josh Okogie ($4,100), Zach Lavine ($7,900)

Draftkings NBA Main Slate Targets: Friday, Oct 26 – Forwards

The Small Forward spot on Draftkings can be tricky at times. I generally look for value at this spot but do not try to punt too much. Typically, I try to find a play under $7,100 that can produce around 40 DKFP.

Khris Middleton ($7,000): Cash and GPPs

Middleton has been on fire to start the season. Last four games for Middleton on DKFP, 38.5, 46.3, 37, and 42.8. He has consistently shot in the double-digit range and has never seen under 30 minutes of playing time.

With Minnesota giving up the 4th most points to Small Forwards, I see Middleton as a great play tonight with upside.

Carmelo Anthony ($4,900): Cash and GPPs

Anthony could see himself in the starting lineup tonight with James Harden and James Ennis III out. Anthony started the second half last game and finished with 39.3 DKFP points in 39 minutes shooting 9-of-17.

If we get news Anthony is going to be in the starting lineup, feel confident to fire him up in your lineups.

Justin Jackson ($3,600): Cash and GPPs

Jackson is going to be a head turner for a few people.  Jackson will receive the start again if Iman Shumpert is ruled out, right now Shump is questionable.  Jackson has scored 23.3, 28.8, and 21.8 DKFP the last three games, he played 37 minutes last game and shot 2-of-9. Furthermore, Washington is giving up the second most points to Small Forward.

Caris LeVert ($6,300): Cash

Levert is a great spot tonight if the Nets can keep this game in hand. I am a little worried of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson taking some usage away from him, but he has the potential to hit value in a high scoring and very fast paced game for the Nets.

Levert has shot 5-of-12, 8-of-9, 8-of-13, and 10-of-18 playing 32, 28, 32, and 34 minutes the last four games.

Other Options: Kevin Durant ($10,100)

Power Forward

Normally, the Power Forward or the Point Guard  is where you find your highest scoring player of the night and where I spend majority of my salary. I look for games that are high and tight, where Vegas is projecting a high total and the game to stay close.  Typically, I use those games and target the highest usage and minutes projected players that are in good Defense versus Position match-ups.

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,700): Cash and GPPs

The Greek Freak is going to be a core play tonight in my cash lineups.  Giannis is in one of the highest and closest projected games on the night. Even though he is the most expensive player on the night, he has been on fire and shooting over 20 attempts in every game this season.

Giannis has the highest usage among all plays on the slate at 35.7%. The one thing that scares me about Giannis is that he has not done well versus the Timberwolves. Since 2016, he has scored 43.75, 38.5, 36.5, and 43.75 DKFP.

Nemanja Bjelica ($5,000)

Bjelica has performed very well for me the last few games he has started. Bjelica only shot for 5 attempts last game, but he fills the sheet up in rebounds, assists, and occasional blocks. Last game Bjelica produced 43.8 DKFP and last game versus Washington(playing tonight) he produced 41.5 DKFP.

With Vegas projecting this game to be the second highest total on the slate and for it to be close, fell comfortable drafting Bjelica into your lineups.

Danilo Gallinari ($6,400): Cash and GPPs

Galli is going into a great match-up with Houston who is allowing the second more points to Small Forwards. He has been on fire the last three games. Galli has shot 8-of-15, 7-of-19, 10-of-26, played 35, 32, 27 minutes, for a total of 37. 5, 38.8, 35.8 DKFP.

This game is projected to be close, leaving Galli ample amount of time to rack up fantasy points.

Nikola Mirotic ($7,400) Cash

Mirotic is going against the Nets who have given up the seventh most points to Power Forwards. He has one of the highest usage on his teams behind Davis at 26.9%. If this game stays close he should be in strong consideration for cash with upside.

Last three games he has shot 7-of-18, 14-of-21, and 11-of-20 going for 36, 52.8, and 51 DKFP.

Jabari Parker ($5,500) Cash

Parker is looking to start tonight with Portis out 4-6 weeks. Parker is fairly priced but has the blowout risk potential which could limit his upside. Last game, he played 31 minutes scoring 30.8 DKFP. If the game stays close, Parker should be in line for a great night, but Vegas says otherwise.

Other options:  Marvin Williams ($4,400)

Draftkings NBA Main Slate Targets: Friday, Oct 26 – Centers

Clint Capela ($6,700) Cash and GPPs

Capela is in a great spot tonight with Harden being ruled out. The last three games he has scored 33, 43.5, 36.5 DKFP, and played 38, 34, and 34 minutes.

His usage, rebounds, minutes, and shot attempts should increase tonight. As such, Capela is going to find his way in a lot of my lineup builds.

More from FanSided

Brook Lopez ($4,800) Cash and GPPs

Lopez has been doing great lately. Tonight he is going against Karl Anthony Towns in a high scoring and close game. Lopez has shot 7-of-13 of 5-of-10 going for 30.3 and 29.5 DKFP his last two games playing over 30 minutes each game.

The Bucks are going to need him show up again tonight to keep this game in check.

Anthony Davis ($11,600): Cash and GPPs

Davis is the second highest priced player on the slate. He is in the second highest total on the night, but has some blowout potential with a current (-9.5) Spread.

Last game against the Nets he went for 44 points and 17 rebounds. The time before that he went for 33 points 11 rebounds for a total of 66.75 DKFP. If the game is going to be a blowout, it seems it is likely because of Davis.

Other Options: Jarrett Allen ($5,700) Cody Zeller ($4,100)
