FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – October 26, 2018
High Value PG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Jeff Teague (vs MIL – $6,500): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. Teague has been reliable this year. He’s had a couple of 30-plus fantasy point games, but he’s rarely going to flame out as he’s the best — and sometimes only — passer on the Timberwolves. Milwaukee’s defense still has some holes and Teague will find the open guy. Diagnosis: Reliable option with potential.
Cameron Payne (at CHA – $5,800): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Payne had 36 fantasy points against the Hornets on Oct. 24. He’s been hit-and-miss this season, but he’s starting and playing big minutes next to future MVP Zach LaVine. He’s inconsistent, but he’s done it once against the Hornets, which is good for his confidence. Diagnosis: A risky option, but one who has proven to deliver a couple times already this season. The minutes and opportunities are there for him.
Derrick Rose (vs MIL – $4,800): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. Rose continues to deliver as he plays big minutes and is allowed to attack at will in Minnesota’s offense. Until the salary gets too high or the Timberwolves go away from him, keep adding him. Use Thibs’ stubbornness to your advantage. Diagnosis: Keep riding Rose until the wheels fall off.
